Cheryl’s ice cream sandwiches

Visual Identity, Packaging Design, Store Signage, Freezer Cling

During the summer of 2018, Cheryl’s launched a collection of ice cream sandwiches in their brick & mortar retail stores. The ice cream sandwiches came in four varieties featuring classic Cheryl’s cookies with ice cream. I designed a visual identity that played off of our core branding using the brand’s core pattern, blue gingham and pops of color from our secondary color palette. I then created a new circular mark to use for the ice cream sandwiches, featuring our logo in the center. We wrapped the ice cream sandwiches in opaque white parchment, and sealed them with flavor specific labels. We promoted the new offering in the stores through the use of clings on our freezer doors and traditional store signs in various sizes both inside and outside the freezer. I also created a concept for an ice cream cart that would go to local malls and summer festivals to help promote Cheryl’s and our new ice cream sandwiches.
